These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Young Person’s Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

For significant changes (e.g., affecting purchases or your rights), we will notify you via email (if we hold your contact details) or a prominent notice on the Site. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

– Attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with, damage, or disrupt the Site

Our services (events, support, programs)

We provide charitable services to support young people’s wellbeing, mental health, personal growth, and related activities (e.g., online/in-person events, advice, workshops).

– Services are provided free or for a suggested donation unless stated otherwise.
– Registration may require personal details — see our Privacy Policy.
– We aim to deliver services as described but reserve the right to change, cancel, or reschedule (e.g., due to low numbers, unforeseen issues, or safeguarding concerns). We will notify you where possible and offer alternatives/refunds if fees apply.
– Any advice or information is general and not a substitute for professional medical/therapeutic support. We are not liable for reliance on it.
– Safeguarding: We follow strict policies to protect young people and vulnerable adults. If we have concerns, we may contact authorities, parents/carers, or relevant services as required by law.

Participation is at your own risk (except for death/personal injury caused by our negligence).

Purchases of products/merchandise (if applicable)

If we offer an online shop for merchandise (e.g., branded clothing, books, digital resources):

  • Orders and contracts: Placing an order is an offer; we accept by sending confirmation email. Contracts form under English law.
  • Pricing and payment: Prices include VAT where applicable (charities may qualify for exemptions). We use secure third-party processors (e.g., Stripe/PayPal); we do not store full payment details. Payment is in GBP.
  • Delivery: For physical goods, estimated times are provided; risk passes on delivery. For digital products, access is immediate upon payment.
  • Returns and refunds:  Physical goods: 14-day cooling-off right under Consumer Contracts Regulations (start from delivery day). Return unused items in original condition for refund (you pay return postage unless faulty).  Digital/content: No right to cancel once downloaded/streamed (unless faulty).
  • Faulty/damaged: Free replacement/repair/refund per Consumer Rights Act.
  • All sales support our charitable objects; refunds are discretionary beyond statutory rights.
  • Title and risk: Ownership passes on full payment; risk (e.g., loss/damage) passes on delivery.

We reserve the right to refuse/cancel orders (e.g., stock issues, suspected fraud).

Donations

Any donations (one-off/recurring) are voluntary and non-refundable except in error or as required by law. We may use Gift Aid where eligible. See our separate donation terms if applicable.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law:
– We provide the Site/services on an “as is” basis without warranties (except statutory implied terms).
– We are not liable for indirect/consequential loss (e.g., data loss, profit loss), or for interruptions due to technical issues, maintenance, or third-party actions.
– Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (or £100 if no payment).
– Nothing excludes liability for death/personal injury from negligence, fraud, or statutory rights.

Third-party links and content

The Site may link to third-party sites (e.g., social media, partners). We do not endorse/control them and accept no responsibility for their content or privacy practices.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against losses/claims from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site/services.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by English law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts (unless you are a consumer in Scotland/Northern Ireland, where local rules may apply).
